This time we were not looking for the exotic.

We decided that the ideal place to bring out the as yet undiscovered energies of the eighty-person group entrusted to us by Omega Pharma would be Podlasie - a land of unspoilt nature and a beautiful rustic guesthouse.

We decided to turn a group of townspeople into peasants. We set a goal that was only achievable if its members understood each other and cooperated.

 

The reward was to remain in the memory of the local community - although some were perhaps hoping for the hand of the village chief's daughter.

Divided into competing groups, the participants faced the forces of nature, learnt to master seemingly simple tools such as pitchforks and scythes, and carried out jobs they had previously had no idea about. They made dumplings, churned butter, harnessed horses, loaded hay, milked cows, chopped wood... And tested liqueurs. Their involvement exceeded our wildest expectations. When the fun was over, they did not want to return to reality.
